The OPPO K14 is a mid-range 5G smartphone featuring a 6.75-inch LCD display with a 720 x 1570 pixel resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The display offers around 256 PPI, an approximately 85.2% screen-to-body ratio and up to 1125 nits HBM brightness. It supports 83% DCI-P3 in Vivid mode and 100% sRGB in Natural mode.
The smartphone is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset, built on a 4nm process and paired with 6GB LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB UFS 2.2 storage. Storage can be expanded through the hybrid card slot. The phone also supports 5G connectivity, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.4 and an IR blaster.
For photography, the OPPO K14 features a 50MP primary rear camera alongside a 2MP secondary camera. The rear camera supports autofocus and features including Portrait, Night, Panorama, SLO-MO, Dual-view Video, Time-lapse, Hi-Res, Google Lens, Underwater, Pro and Document Scanner modes. Rear video recording supports up to 1080p at 60fps.
An 8MP front camera is housed in the punch-hole display. It supports 1080p video recording at 30fps and features including Portrait, Night, Panorama, Dual-view Video, Time-lapse, Retouch, Screen Fill Light and Hi-Res modes.
The phone runs Android 15 with ColorOS 15. AI features include AI GameBoost 2.0, AI LinkBoost 3.0, AI Night Modem, AI Perfect Shot, AI Recompose and AI Eraser 2.0. Other features include NFC, a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, face unlock and Outdoor Mode 2.0 with GloveTouch.
A large 7000mAh non-removable battery powers the OPPO K14, with support for 45W fast charging and reverse charging. The phone also has dual stereo speakers and a USB Type-C audio connection.
Durability is a key feature, with IP66, IP68 and IP69 ratings, along with dust resistance and water resistance up to 1.5 metres for up to 30 minutes.
The OPPO K14 focuses on battery capacity, durability and everyday features. Its 7000mAh battery and 45W charging provide a strong battery specification, while IP66, IP68 and IP69 ratings add protection against water and dust.
The Dimensity 6300, 6GB RAM and UFS 2.2 storage are aimed at everyday tasks, social media, streaming and regular multitasking. The 120Hz display adds smoothness, although its 720 x 1570 resolution is modest for a 6.75-inch panel.
The camera system includes a 50MP primary sensor and a 2MP secondary camera, with multiple photography modes and 1080p 60fps rear video recording. The lack of an ultra-wide camera limits camera versatility.
The phone also includes 5G, NFC, Bluetooth 5.4, an IR blaster, dual stereo speakers and a hybrid card slot. Its 216g weight, USB-C 2.0 connection and lack of a 3.5mm headphone jack are notable compromises.
