The OPPO Reno15c 5G is a mid-range smartphone that combines a large AMOLED display, a high-capacity battery and a camera setup aimed at photography and social-media use. It has a slim profile of around 7.99–8.14mm depending on the version and weighs about 195g. The phone is available in Afterglow Pink and Twilight Blue, with a textured rear finish designed to reduce fingerprints. OPPO also gives it IP66, IP68 and IP69 protection for resistance against dust and water.
The phone features a 6.59-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 2372 × 1080 resolution, 397ppi density and a refresh rate of up to 120Hz. The panel supports 10-bit colour, 100% DCI-P3 coverage and up to 1,400 nits of HBM brightness. Its 240Hz touch sampling rate can also make touch interactions feel more responsive during gaming and regular navigation.
Performance comes from Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 4nm platform, paired with LPDDR4X RAM and UFS 3.1 storage. Indian configurations include 8GB + 256GB and 12GB + 256GB, while a storage card is supported for additional space. The hardware is intended for everyday applications, multitasking, streaming and moderate gaming rather than flagship-level workloads.
Photography is handled by a 50MP main camera with 2-axis OIS, an 8MP ultra-wide camera and a 2MP macro camera. The front uses a 50MP autofocus camera with a 100-degree field of view, making it useful for group selfies. Both the rear and front cameras can record 4K video at 30fps. OPPO also includes portrait, night, Pro, macro and dual-view shooting modes.
The 7000mAh battery is one of the phone’s main highlights, supported by 80W SUPERVOOC charging. OPPO states that a full charge can take around 64 minutes under its specified conditions. The phone runs ColorOS 16 and includes 5G, dual Nano-SIM support, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS and USB Type-C connectivity.
The OPPO Reno15c 5G is designed for users who place greater importance on battery life, display quality and camera features than on outright processing power. Its Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 is a sensible choice for everyday tasks such as messaging, social media, video streaming, browsing and regular multitasking. The combination of LPDDR4X RAM and UFS 3.1 storage should also keep normal app loading and navigation reasonably responsive.
Its display is one of the more useful aspects of the package. The FHD+ AMOLED panel provides a sharper image than basic HD+ screens, while the 120Hz refresh rate improves scrolling and supported gaming. The 10-bit colour depth and DCI-P3 coverage also make it suitable for users who spend considerable time watching videos or viewing photographs.
The camera hardware is reasonably versatile for this segment. Optical image stabilisation on the 50MP primary camera can help with handheld photography and video, while the ultra-wide camera provides a wider perspective for landscapes and group shots. The 50MP autofocus front camera is another notable feature for selfie-focused users. However, the 2MP macro camera adds limited flexibility compared with a dedicated telephoto camera, and the phone is not intended to compete with premium camera phones.
Battery endurance is arguably the Reno15c's biggest practical advantage. Its 7000mAh capacity and 80W charging make it well suited to heavy daily use, travel and long periods away from a charger. The IP66/IP68/IP69 protection is also useful for buyers who want additional resistance against dust and water.
The main consideration is performance. Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 is capable for normal use but does not provide the same headroom as newer upper-mid-range or flagship processors. Wi-Fi is also limited to Wi-Fi 5, while Bluetooth is listed as version 5.1.
OPPO launched the Reno15c in India at ₹34,999 for 8GB + 256GB and ₹37,999 for 12GB + 256GB.
The Reno15c is therefore suited to users who prioritise battery endurance, AMOLED display quality, selfies, everyday photography and durability, while performance-focused buyers should compare its Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 hardware with alternatives in the same price range.
