The Poco M8 Power 5G is a feature-packed smartphone built around a large 6.99-inch AMOLED display. It offers a 1080 x 2396 resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, around 375 PPI and 100% DCI-P3 color coverage. With up to 1800 nits peak brightness and 1200 nits HBM, the display is designed for bright and smooth viewing.
Performance comes from the Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 4 chipset with an octa-core CPU reaching up to 2.3GHz. It is paired with 6GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB of UFS 2.2 storage. The phone also supports up to 8GB of virtual RAM and expandable storage through a microSD card of up to 1TB.
For photography, the Poco M8 Power 5G features a 50MP rear camera with a Light Fusion 400 sensor and autofocus. Camera features include HDR, Portrait, Ultra HD, Night Mode, Google Lens and Time Lapse. An 8MP punch-hole front camera handles selfies and supports 1080p video recording at 30fps.
The biggest highlight is its 8000mAh silicon-carbon battery. It supports 45W fast charging and 22.5W reverse wired charging, providing substantial battery capacity for extended daily use and allowing the phone to power other devices when required.
The Poco M8 Power 5G also supports 5G connectivity, dual-standby VoLTE, Bluetooth 5.1, USB-C, an IR blaster and IP65 protection. Android 16 with Xiaomi HyperOS 3 provides the software experience, while features such as Gemini, Circle to Search, AI Erase, AI Sky and AI Bokeh add useful AI capabilities.
The Snapdragon 4 Gen 4, 6GB LPDDR4X RAM and UFS 2.2 storage provide capable everyday performance. The 120Hz AMOLED display also offers smoother scrolling and a better experience for supported games.
