The Galaxy S26 FE focuses on delivering several of Samsung’s flagship-style features at a lower position within the S26 family. Its 6.7-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display supports a 120Hz refresh rate and reaches up to 1,900 nits, making the screen one of the phone’s major highlights.
Performance comes from Samsung’s 3nm Exynos 2500, paired with 8GB RAM. The phone also runs One UI 9 and includes Samsung’s latest Galaxy AI features.
The triple-camera setup consists of a 50MP main camera with OIS, 12MP ultra-wide camera and 8MP telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom and OIS. It can also record video at up to 8K resolution.
The 4,900mAh battery supports 45W fast charging, while wireless charging is also supported. The phone has stereo speakers, an in-display fingerprint sensor and IP68 water and dust resistance.
The Galaxy S26 FE is built around Samsung's strengths: display quality, cameras, software and a premium, lightweight design. The 6.7-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X panel with 120Hz refresh rate gives it a strong multimedia experience, while the 50MP main camera, ultra-wide and 3x telephoto combination makes the camera system considerably more versatile than phones with only a main and ultra-wide camera.
The Exynos 2500 provides capable performance for everyday use, multitasking and gaming, although extended heavy gaming can be more demanding. The 4,900mAh battery offers reasonable endurance, but the combination of a 45W charging system and a battery of this capacity means charging speeds aren't a standout feature.
Samsung also adds useful premium features such as wireless charging, IP68 protection, stereo speakers and Galaxy AI. The slim 193g body makes the phone relatively easy to handle despite its large display.
