The battery’s size does have one downside: the phone is relatively heavy.

But if battery life is your priority, that’s a trade-off many users will happily accept.

Software: HyperOS 3 and Android 16

The Redmi Note 17 Pro 5G runs Android 16 with Xiaomi HyperOS 3.

HyperOS 3 provides plenty of customisation options along with Xiaomi’s ecosystem features and AI-powered tools.
